Meet Henley

Meet the newest member of the family, Henley. He is a 7 week old Basset Hound and cute as a button. We picked him up this afternoon. He was the last one left and apparently was not happy about it. I am afraid we may be in for a few rough nights until he is adjusted. We thought it might take a little for him to settle in when we got him home, but after about five minutes he started playing with his toys. About six minutes after that he took his first poo on the carpet. Yuck. I think he is going to have to learn not to chew on the kids as well, but hopefully that won't take long. He had about 30 minutes of play before he passed out. You can see Elle in the background. She couldn't stop laughing when he would growl at his toys and toss them around. Pierce is already jealous and got in trouble about ten times while we were playing with the dog. Poor guy. Thank goodness we don't plan on having anymore kids, I don't think he would make a very good middle child.
