Elle's Photo Shoot Pictures

Elle had a photo shoot shortly after we returned from vacation. She has recently signed with a modeling/talent agency and these are for her headshots and photo card. She was amazing during the pictures. It took almost two hours, but she was focsued the whole time. I think they turned out great! Enjoy.  

End of School and Memorial Weekend

 The kids last day of school was the 27th. The whole week was fun week and they had crazy hair day. Doesn't Pierce look like Billy Idol in this picture. It cracks me up. They both had a great time. It's so hard to believe that Elle will be in third grade next year. Pierce has one more year of preschool before he starts kindergarten. We thought about starting him early, but we both agreed he isn't ready. I think one more year of preschool will be good for him. 

Last weekend we went to Saguaro lake with a few friends of Keith's. They had rented a boat and invited us to tag along. It was a fun time. The weather was great. I spent most of the time in the boat because the water was freezing. Keith and the kids enjoyed it and I took pictures. 

The kids were a little tired by the time we started heading back, can you tell?

We had a great Memorial Weekend. It was wonderful hanging out together. Tomorrow the kids start Sports Camp. I think they will have a great time......and be very tired by the end of the day.

Dance Recital

Elle and Pierce had a dance recital last night. They both did great. I was especially impressed with how well Pierce did. He has already been saying he doesn't want to do dance again next school year so I wasn't expecting much from the performance. However, he did great. He really got into it. The great thing about their dance is it is after school on school campus. We don't have to take them anywhere, the dance instructors come to them. Elle finds her inner model!

Yesterday Elle decided to get dressed up to go to the Rattlers football game. It was employee appreciation night for St. Joe's and we all went. I thought Elle looked very pretty in her outfit and at first she refused to take pictures. It drives me crazy when she will not let me take a few pictures of her, but something happened. I don't know if she decided she looked beautiful too, but her inner model came out. Here are a few of the pictures we took. It started here at the house, but when we got to Rattlers game she wanted me to take more. Luckily there was great lighting and a tree that she could hang out in. I must say the girl is a natural.

I thought this one was a funny because it looks like a fan is blowing her hair back.

Thinking deep thoughts below.....hmmmmm.....will I get popcorn, hot dogs, and nachos at the game??? I wonder. .....

Who me, I didn't lose a hat and scarf 45 minutes after Mommy bought them. Look at this face, how could I possibly do that???

Pierce had to get into the action. Don't you love his Blue Steel look. Priceless.

Well, I guess modeling can really wear you out. Kind of looks like she had too much to drink, but really I think it was all the food.

Pierce's Birthday Party

Pierce had his party this year at pump it up. It was his first "big" party. He had a blast. Kids love bouncers so it is the perfect place to have a party. The other great thing is they do everything. You don't have to clean up or anything. It is great. Keith and Rich both took turns trying to bounce the kids off this one. It was great. The kids loved it. I can't believe someone didn't end up with a concussion.

It was really hard to get pictures while they were jumping, but here is the group picture.

Pierce had a Star Wars cake. He was so cute sitting in the big chair.

These are a few of the boys he hangs out with at school. Niko is his favorite but not in this picture. Niko was in Kindergarten last year when Pierce started primary. He was Pierce's mentor. I found out yesterday that all the older boys wanted to be Pierce's mentor which I though was sweet.

Niko is the boy right next to Elle. I think we are going to have to watch the little blonde boy, his name is Rock and he really likes Elle. Hey pal, we got our eye on you.
